Edmund Blair Leighton

People have asked me before who my favourite artist is and its been difficult to say because I've never really had one. However, after looking for some inspiration for my artwork, I stumbled upon Edmund Blair Leighton's "waiting" after seeing this I looked at other pieces of his work and I love them, especially the regency ones.  I think that his work is so bright and fresh looking.  Edmund Blair Leighton was an English painter born 21st September 1852 and died 1st September 1922.
