The Dome of the Rock
I've recently been learning about medieval architecture and got some inspiration from The Dome of the Rock. I should be doing written work but I think this was far more important.

Mah brovver
My brother bought me this leather sketch book in London for Christmas, quite a while ago. I drew his portrait on the first page a couple of days after receiving it; I don't know why it took me so long to post this.
Black Magic Woman
This was one of the most frivolous presents I bought this year from my holiday in Cornwall but one of my favourites. I got it at the Museum of Witchcraft and Magic and as soon as I got it home I was compelled to burn a couple of fingers :P
Gill's hare
My dad's girlfriend, Gill, commissioned me to paint her a messy watercolour hare with autumn colours after seeing so many on holiday at extortionate prices, this is the result.
Skyhill Black and White
This painting was inspired by the lyrics "I'm pouring colour on your black and white disguise, it's like seeing the world for the first time" from the Skyhill song "Black and White"

C'mon English Heritage
Okay I dont mean to be a grammar Nazi or anything but I have to show this postcard I bought from Tilbury Fort. I mean come on, it's two short sentances, even one proof read would have fixed the errors in this. :)

Marilyn Monroe
My friend asked for a drawing for his birthday present and as he adores Marilyn Monroe it seemed only natural that I draw her. I drew in pen and pencil.
Driftwood necklace holder
During my fathers day beach visit I found a piece of driftwood. When I got home I painted a pastel geometric pattern onto it and screwed in six tea cup hooks into the side. I attached some string to the top so that it could be hung on a wall. This is the end result, I'm quite happy with it.
Fathers Day
I went to Walton with my dad and my brother for some fathers day fishing. As I don't like fishing I was taking photos and scavenging on the beach. I created a photo display with the things I found, bark from a tree stump is the frame.

Sculpture gif
I made a clay sculpture of Herme's Caduceus and took photos of it being created and ultimately destroyed.

Creepy Installation
For a final piece in my last unit at college I had to create an installation that used at least three different types of media. I based it off of the painting "Las Meninas" by Diego Velazquez painted in 1656. I thought that Margarita, the blonde little girl at the center of the painting, looked a lot like a porcelain doll.
I then decided that I would go down the creepy route because dolls freak me out, I started creating A3 and A4 mono prints of dolls and stuck them all over the walls of a small dark room. Then I tried to create a horror-film-trailer-esque video of them. I edited the video to fit to my audio and then projected the film onto the walls. The audio was the soundtrack from the horror game "Hektor" composed by Shaun Chasin and performed by the Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra. Listening to it made me feel a deep sorrow but as the music goes on it creates a beautifully eerie atmosphere.
Unfortunately the laptop that was used to project the video was quite old and because the video played so incredibly slow it went out of sync to the music. Other than that I was pleased with my installation as many people who came in to see it felt it was quite creeped out. Blogger wont let me upload the video of the installation but I have a couple of photos.

Ink Graphics
A quick video I created in my graphics unit. "Poison" was the name of my fashion shop that I invented, the gas mask was our logo and green was our colour scheme.
Fashion Illustrations
I unfortunately didn't get a photo of these illustrations before I stuck them to my mood boards but oh well. These are some ink, pen and paint illustrations of outfits I designed based on "East End Urban".
Scrabble Politics
I wrote "election" and "vote" on the fridge with scrabble magnets and came back to this:
I think somebody in my family doesn't like the government :)

Alzheimer's Association
So hey don't wanna spam you with charity stuff but a Youtuber called Muyskerm is holding a charity livestream for the Alzheimer's Association. He's on twitch http://www.twitch.tv/muyskerm . The charity supports the patients suffering with Alzheimer s and the family, the money raised also goes towards research. So if you could check it out many people and families would benefit from it. Even if you only give a pound it will help out, but if you can't donate that's fine just spread the word and try to get others aware of this stream. Thank you xx

Best Friends Animal Society
So a Youtuber called Markiplier did a charity livestream a few weeks ago for the Best Friends Animal Society. There was a specially designed t-shirt for the occasion, designed by cryptid-creations on Deviantart, featuring the Amnesia monster hugging a kitten. All of the proceeds from these went to the charity; I bought a black Amnesia T-shirt and it has just arrived eeek :) I think it's amazing how Markiplier's community works together to help one another and to donate to so many different charities, it truly makes a difference. With so many bad things happening in the world it can be easy to forget that we can help each other. We can change the world, we can make it a better place. Being a part of Markipliers community I am constantly reminded of the spectacular things we have already done, the charities and lives we have helped and I know that by working together will continue to achieve amazing things. xx

Lindy Bop
I just got a dress from a vintage clothes website, it's called Lindy Bop. This is the website: http://www.lindy-bop.com/
This is the dress I got, I also have this shrug, it looks really nice on, if I do say so myself. :)
There are so many other dresses on here that I love, these are just a small handful.
